Leading The Way For Collaboration
November 11, 2019
Our Light Turbines team recently celebrated success when they were awarded the Collaboration Values Award by key customer Spirit Energy at the company’s annual Supplier Day Conference.
Alan Ainscough, Head of Service Delivery at EthosEnergy attended the Conference at the Double Tree Hotel in Aberdeen. Spirit Energy’s Supplier Day offers an opportunity for suppliers to gather to share information and learn how they can work better together.
This year, the Supplier Day Conference included a prize giving ceremony where Spirit Energy awarded a trophy and certificate to suppliers that best supported the company’s core values.
It came as a surprise when we beat off the competition to be announced as the winner of the award for our collaboration at Spirit Energy’s Barrow Terminal. Alan was delighted to accept the award on behalf of the Light Turbines team from Spirit Energy’s Neil McCulloch, who the team has been working closely with.
This award signifies the hard work, commitment and passion Light Turbines has shown to improving the uptime of the turbine at Spirit Energy’s Barrow Terminal increasing this from 40% to 99.5%. The team worked closely with Spirit Energy to understand the issues and operational objectives of the terminal and develop a solution that solved them whilst delivering tangible results.
Scott Jessiman, Managing Director of Light Turbines, said, “This award for collaboration highlights the way the team has worked closely with Spirit Energy to transform the Barrow Terminal. We are very proud to accept this award.”
The Collaboration award is one of five awards based on Spirit Energy’s core values and aims to highlight their suppliers that have shown commitment to their core values.
Congratulations to all the team at Light Turbines for your hard work!
