EthosEnergy awarded multi-million dollar compressor replacement contract

Worcester, UK – EthosEnergy has been awarded a multi-million pound compressor replacement contract for work at a major chemical manufacturing plant in Europe.

The scope of work involves a new replacement gas compressor including a new spare compressor rotor, coupling and a full set of operating spares.

Pat Foley, Global Head of Steam & Compressors at EthosEnergy said, “The aged compressors at the customer’s site were unable to cope with the demand and were experiencing a large number of breakdowns, our solution was tailored to address these exact needs.”

Jos Derkink, VP of the Compressor Product Line at EthosEnergy, added, “It was an excellent cooperation between the customer and the EthosEnergy facilities in Worcester and Hengelo, to define the Critical to Quality items with the customer.

“The work carried out will also allow for maximum productivity at the plant, which will in turn increase the plant’s overall efficiency.”
