13 July 2021 3:00pm BST / 10:00am EST

Brought to you by the Women’s Engineering Society, International Women in Engineering Day is celebrating its 8th year running.

International Women in Engineering Day is an international campaign that aims to raise the profile of women in engineering roles and focuses attention on the amazing career opportunities available to females in the exciting industry of engineering.

This year’s theme is ‘Engineering Heroes’, so we are delighted to be taking part in the celebration by hosting a panel session with our very own talented female engineers.

Join our session where we engage with our female engineers to ask about career advice, past experiences and to learn more on the all-important question; what does an engineer actually do?

Our panelists have held a variety of job roles – working with submarines, field engineering to c-suites.. and not to mention an Olympian!

With lots to discuss, make sure that you secure a spot and register below for our free event today.

Here is a teaser clip of our panelist Laura Rivera sharing what inspired her to become an engineer!
