EthosEnergy executes complete full load testing of gas turbines and reduction gearboxes after each workshop overhaul.
Our service exchange engines and speed reduction gearboxes are also subject to full load testing before shipment to our customers.
The three main objectives of each test are:
Mechanical integrity: Ensuring that the engine vibration levels and oil temperatures are within our test specification limits and the engines exhibit no air, gas or oil leaks
Performances: The engine delivers minimum guaranteed power, while not exceeding the maximum allowable fuel consumption
Emissions: The engine complies with the emission standards for the model and class
Customer participation in the full load testing is strongly encouraged. If the customer is not present, then a representative will attend the full test. Alternatively, these tests can be viewed remotely via the Internet in real-time.
Full test cell capability is currently ensured for the following engines:
Siemens Tornado, single and twin-shaft, standard combustion and LowNOx combustion
Siemens Typhoon, standard combustion and LowNOx capability
Siemens TB5000 & TB5400 turbines, gas and liquid fuel
Solar Saturn up to T1300 model, single and split shaft , gas and liquid fuel
Solar Centaur 40 / Centaur 50 / Taurus 60 up to T7800 model, single and split shaft, standard combustion and LowNOx
Solar Mars up to T15000 model, standard combustion and LowNOx
